Part deux:
Shopping in Taiwan:
This activity pretty much took up 3/4 of our time haha. However I must still say that shopping is seriously not my favourite past time. Not joking, even though it may seem that I'm the only one carrying the most number of bags in the photos.

This is just a ploy to make me look as though I shopped a lot.

Just so y'know, those huge plastic bags contain food. Not clothes. I swear I do not shop a lot. Heh.

Ignore the fat arm, yes I am very serious when it comes to shopping. You'll get ripped off if you don't bargain!

Shopping never stops even at night.

Some of my loots.
After crawling through XMD, Wu fen pu and Shilin, I must say that you can never shop enough.
XMD: you've see one, you've seen them all. Most of the shops sell the same stuff, bags are quite ugly and cheapo looking. Look out for the locals who set up their carts on the streets, you can get 2 shirts for like 15sgd? They have everything, and I really mean EVERYTHING. From falsies to bags to heels to wallets to clothes.
Wu fen pu and Shilin is a MUST. Clothes are reasonably priced and fashionable, but the imported stuff from Korea are pretty expensive. My most expensive buy was a pair of navy blue crop pants for about 40sgd. Only to find another store selling a similar one (except that it didn't come in navy) for half the price.
When I came to Taiwan, my luggage weighed 16kg. When I came back, it weighed 28kg minus all the other stuff that we hand carried.
I would lovelove to go to Taiwan again.
