The important thing to realize in life is that you don't actually NEED anyone
You can’t rely on other people to bring you joy.
Nor the approval/affection of another human being to fulfill you. You can’t expect one person, or a number of people to complete you or to fix everything that’s wrong. You’re responsible for your happiness. You’re responsible for your own satisfaction with life. It all comes down to one person, and you are fooling yourself if you think that is any other person on this planet than the one sitting right where you are right now. (via happythings.tumblr.com) |
