The case of the relightable candles
Su's 19th (at Jurong point, was supposed to surprise her at her school, but we were too late and the birthday girl couldn't wait either) :
  Look at the crazy assed relightable candles. The "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" sign caught fire and melted, resulting in sparks flying everywhere, the fire growing stronger than before, pouring of water to extinguish the flames, mad blowing of the candles, everyone was staring at us and at the cake looking very amused.        It has become a tradition to take polariod shots during birthdays.             We are tres cool and very young at heart.               The aftermath of the cake. (See those plastic-ky white bits? Hahaha please don't ever use relightable candles unless you plan to only light up a few, and 19 candles is not a few!)             LOL at that indian fella beside me.       No, that is not a paunch you're looking at, although I know I look crazily pregnant over here ): The garther of my skirt was really thick plus it's those poofy type which makes me look exceptionally bottom heavy.   Late night out + Yanjun/Su/Xiuz/Du + relightable candles + huge assed balloon + Sakura + good conversations + the notion that everything might turn out pretty damn good = Bloody wonderful MP ending in 12 days time. WOO HOO NO MORE WAKING UP AT AN UNEARTHLY TIMING OF 7AM EVERYDAY, NO MORE WORRYING ABOUT BEING LATE WHEN CLOCKING IN, NO MORE MORNING TRAFFIC JAMS, NO MORE HAVING TO SQUEEZE IN THE BUS WITH A THOUSAND AND ONE OTHER STUDENTS, NO MORE CABBING TO SCHOOL. YAY. |
