I went to buy a cake for the parents today.
The cake shop owner was packing the cake when he told me some stuff.
Here's how it went...

Cake man:
"Whose the cake for?"

Me:
"For my parents wedding anniversary."

Cake man:
"Wow, how long have they been married?"

Me:
"Mmmmm 20 over years?" (I'm such a lousy daughter, I can't even remember how long the parents have been married to each other.)

Cake man:
"How come my children never buy cake on my birthday or special occassions for me?"

Me:
Silence. End of conversation.

I really went speechless. Just didn't know what to say, or how to comfort the guy. Maybe I should have asked for his birthday or something. But damn, what a moment.

It must be the mating season. The cats in my neigbourhood keep wailing away at one another every night.
It's getting really annoying. Shh.

I don't know why, but these few days I have sudden urges to do stuff. (Example: cooking dinner for my family, weird much! Ohh and I made really good ravioli earlier. Instant one though haha.)

Like how I feel like I want to have a pen pal now.
One that lives in another country, maybe in the UK perhaps or even far out like Russia.
One that you can write whatever you want and not be judged.
One where the deepest of secrets would not be told to the world since what happens to you doesn't really matter in the other persons life.
One where he/she would post pictures of scenery and sights from their homeland and show me how beautiful the other really is.
One that I might actually go visit someday and talk to face to face.

Ohh well, I guess it's just something that might not really happen, since I'm not actually going do anything about it.

And I think I need to start expanding my social circle and start making new friends.

I'm only 19 but I'm damn bored with what life has to offer. I want to do something fun exciting and reckless. I want to feel the adrenaline rush again.
