very amusing
My ruined trip to Taiwan.
Read on. Something very amusing happened. My relatives and I trotted down to Changi airport ALL READY TO LEAVE. Then, while we are checking in, the lady at the counter tells us that the passport has to be at least 6 months from expiry. And my dear ole cousin's was FIVE MONTHS from expiry. I had never heard of this rule, but it's there; and not just for Taiwan. It seems most Asian countries enforce it. There's some stipulation that states that if my cousin actually went to Taiwan without the immigration officer noticing the 'expiry date' of the passport, he wouldn't be able to return back to Singapore.HAHAHA WHICH IS REALLY COOL, WITH HIM BEING STUCK IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY.oops. Anyway, in other words, he couldn't go. Which meant all of us wouldn't go as well. HAHAHA IT WAS SO AMUSING. We had to wheel our luggage out of the DEPARTURE HALL which looked super retarded. A damn classic moment really. So, don't be a lazy ass like him. Get that passport renewed well in advance. OMG I AM EXTREMELY SORE NOW BECAUSE I DIDN'T GET TO GO TAIWAN. I'm such a whiner but as I choose to believe, whining is a woman's prerogative. (Along with gossiping, shopping and being always right that is.) - I've been watching a lot of gossip girls lately and I'm almost done with season 2 and the show is so so good. I like spending certain days, especially rainy ones, in bed, all snuggled up with my lappy, gossip girls and a cup of hot chocolate in the other hand mm mm. ![]() I think I am starting to have this really mad obsession for heels. These are the two pairs that I've gotten over the past two days.SHIT.NEED TO GET A JOB SOON. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
